Privacy
Policy.

This site (unomialabs.com) is the public-facing page of Unomia Labs LLC, a software studio and holding company based in South Texas. We try to be exactly as plain about data here as we try to be about everything else: we collect very little, we use it for the obvious reasons, and we don’t sell or rent any of it. This policy explains that in detail.

01 What this policy covers

This policy applies only to the marketing website at unomialabs.com and any direct communication you initiate with Unomia Labs LLC (for example, by emailing hello@unomialabs.com or using the contact form on the home page).

It does not cover our operating ventures. Each Unomia venture is its own product and operating company, and each maintains its own privacy policy on its own site:

  • MDRM IQ — community bank regulatory exam intelligence. See mdrmiq.com/privacy.
  • Puente IQ — real-time border crossing intelligence for the Texas–Mexico corridor. See puenteiq.com/privacy.

If you are a user of one of those products, the relevant product privacy policy — not this one — governs your data.

02 Information we collect on this site

Unomia Labs LLC has no accounts, no logins, no payments, and no product surface on unomialabs.com. The site is informational. The only information we collect through it falls into two narrow categories.

2.1   What you send us through the contact form or by email

When you submit the contact form, your browser opens your default email application with the form fields pre-composed and addressed to hello@unomialabs.com. The transmission itself happens through your email provider, not our servers. If you send the message, we receive:

  • Your name (as you provide it).
  • Your email address (as you provide it).
  • Your organization, if you provide it.
  • The category of interest you select.
  • The message you write.
  • Any metadata your email provider attaches (e.g., timestamp, IP at time of send).

The same applies if you email hello@unomialabs.com directly without using the form.

2.2   Standard server logs from the infrastructure that serves the site

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (S3 + CloudFront). AWS records standard server-access information for delivered requests, including IP addresses, user-agent strings, request paths, and timestamps. We do not currently enable, retain, or analyze CloudFront access logs in our own systems; AWS retains them according to its own operational requirements.

03 What we do not collect

We want to be explicit about this. On unomialabs.com:

  • We do not set any first-party cookies.
  • We do not run any analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, no Segment, no Pixel).
  • We do not embed any advertising trackers.
  • We do not fingerprint visitors.
  • We do not require an account to read anything.
  • We do not sell or rent any visitor or contact data to anyone. Not now, not later.

04 How we use what we do collect

Information you send us through the contact form or by email is used only to:

  • Read and reply to your message.
  • Route the message internally to the appropriate person at Unomia Labs LLC or one of its operating ventures, if your inquiry is product-specific.
  • Keep a record of past correspondence so we can be useful in future conversations with you.

We do not use it to train any models. We do not enrich it with third-party data sources. We do not add you to a newsletter or any other mailing list unless you explicitly ask us to.

05 Third-party services involved in delivering this site

Running a website requires other companies. The following providers receive information solely by virtue of delivering this page to your browser, and each operates under its own privacy policy:

  • Amazon Web Services — the site is served from Amazon S3 behind Amazon CloudFront in AWS account 259828990977. AWS sees request metadata required to deliver content (your IP, requested URL, user-agent).
  • GoDaddy — DNS for unomialabs.com is hosted at GoDaddy, and the apex domain redirects to www.unomialabs.com via GoDaddy’s domain forwarding. GoDaddy’s DNS and forwarding infrastructure handle the initial request before it reaches AWS.
  • Google Fonts — the site loads the Newsreader, Manrope, and Space Mono typefaces from Google’s font CDN. Google sees the IP and user-agent making those font requests. We do not pass any visitor identity to Google.

We do not use any other third-party scripts or services on this site.

06 Data retention

If you write to us, we keep that correspondence for as long as it is reasonably useful to the conversation or relationship — typically while the inquiry is active and for a reasonable period after. If you ask us to delete a record of your correspondence, we will, except where retention is required by law (for example, if the message relates to a contract under negotiation or completed).

Server-access information held by AWS and GoDaddy is retained according to those providers’ own policies. We do not retain copies in our own systems.

07 Security

The entire site is served over HTTPS via TLS 1.2+ using a certificate issued by Amazon Certificate Manager. Email you send us travels through your email provider and ours under normal mail-transport encryption (TLS where supported between mail servers). No system is perfectly secure, and we make no warranty against the possibility of compromise — but we follow standard practices and run nothing on this site that processes payments, credentials, or sensitive personal data.

08 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (for example, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act). Those rights generally include:

  • The right to know what personal information we hold about you.
  • The right to request a copy of it in a portable format.
  • The right to correct it if it is wrong.
  • The right to ask us to delete it.
  • The right to object to or restrict certain uses of it.
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of the above.

Because the only personal information we collect on this site is information you have sent us directly, exercising these rights is usually as simple as replying to the email thread or writing to hello@unomialabs.com and telling us what you would like done. We will respond within thirty (30) days.

09 Children

Unomia Labs LLC builds software for regulated institutions and operating businesses. This site is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect any information from, anyone under the age of sixteen (16). If you believe a minor has sent us information, please email hello@unomialabs.com and we will delete it.

10 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and post the revised policy at this URL. If a change is material — for example, if we begin collecting a new category of information or introduce analytics — we will say so prominently. Your continued use of the site after a revision is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
